PM: Where I live now. I love Vancouver, my friends are here, and I love my life!

PM: Pilot episode - Rising - where all the fun began!
Q: What was the most difficult / fun scene to film?
PM: Most difficult scene - scene from Conversion - in a cave, basically blind, and deaf, asked to run, while being shot at! Most fun scene - dinner scene in Duet
Q: Do you prefer the 'Doctor' or the 'out of his element' scenes?
PM: A good mix of both always makes me happy!
Q: What did you get up to during the hiatus between seasons 1 and 2?
PM: Conventions in Germany, England and Scotland and time with family and friends - New York at Christmas - Promoting the Theatrical Release of "See Grace Fly".
Q: Any cool new projects that your fans can look forward to?
PM: Right now solely focusing on Atlantis - Season 2 - but possibly a very cool indie film in the off-season
Q: What's surprised you the most about working on Stargate?
PM: I can actually spew out the alien-medical jargon and people still like me!
Q: We've heard a few stories about various bloopers or deliberate jokes being played on set, care to share any more?
PM: "The Lowdown" with John Murphy will reveal some good ones!
Q: What are you most looking forward to this season?
PM: Beckett off world is lots of fun
Q: How have things changed now that your character is officially a series regular? Bigger trailer? Moved up the lunch queue?
PM: Same trailer, but I can put my posters up and leave them there.
Q: Which season 2 episodes stand out as something Carson fans can look forward to?
PM: Siege Part 3 - The Runner - Instinct - Conversion - Duet - just to mention a few.
Q: There are a number of new characters this season, can you tell us what they're like and how your character interacts with them (i.e. Caudwell, Ronon, General Landry). How are the new actors fitting in?
PM: Caldwell - boss man, cool guy, tight jumpsuit. Ronon - big man, cool guy, I could take him! General Landry - haven't had any scenes with him yet, went out for dinner though - cool guy.
Q: Other cast members have already begun to write episodes, do you have any aspirations to do the same, or direct?
PM: We have great writers - if it ain't broke, why fix it! I have directed, outside of the Sci-fi genre and enjoy it tremendously!
Q: SG1 has reached its 9th season, can you see Atlantis lasting that long and do you think you'll still be on board by then?
PM: I can only hope that Atlantis gets to enjoy a little bit of the success that Stargate SG1 has! Hopefully they'll always need a doctor.
